The mysterious link of cash distributor Tarikuzzaman and Additional Director General of Postal Department Zakir Hasan Noor has been revealed in Uttara on June 14. Tarikuzzaman is the cousin of Zakir Hasan. Zakir was in charge of various cash related committees and oversight from 2017-2023, when two distributorships of Tarikuzzaman were approved. Tarikuzzaman’s distributorships have transacted more than Tk 200 crores per month. It raises the question of abuse of power and conflict of interest by government officials.
