Bogra’s son Kushtia is admitted to hospital after being poisoned

A boy from Bogra who came to Kushtia to marry his girlfriend has been admitted to the hospital. Not finding his lover, the young man drank poison in a garden near his house. Later he was admitted to the hospital.
The incident took place in Chaudua village of Amla union of Mirpur upazila in Kushtia. The young man named Elias Sardar is the son of Ashraf Sardar of Nichchunpur village of Mathurapur union of Dhunat upazila of Bogra.

Talking to the young man, it is known that the first time they saw Tiktok videos, the young people fell in love with each other. Then they introduced themselves on social media Facebook. At one stage of conversation they fall in love. The young man came to Kushtia from Bogra to meet and marry the girl last Monday. He started a hunger strike at his lover’s house. The girl’s family adds the condition that the boy’s parents must come. The young man then informed his family. However, he was scolded by the family. Then in the evening, the young man went to a mahogany garden near the girl’s house and drank poison. He was quickly rescued and admitted to Mirpur Upazila Complex.
Ilyas Sardar said, “We agreed, but no one from my family came, so there was no marriage.” I tried to commit suicide because my parents scolded me.’

However, no family members are looking for the young man after this incident. Piyush Kumar Saha, family and planning officer of Mirpur Upazila Health Complex, said that a person named Elias was brought to the hospital last Monday night. He is currently out of danger. He is undergoing treatment at the hospital. No one from the family of the young man has come till this Wednesday morning.
