Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) forces successfully blocked an attempt by India’s Border Security Force (BSF) to push seven women and children into Bangladeshi territory across the Parshuram border in Feni on Saturday.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:45 a.m. near the zero line of the West Saheb Nagar-Durgapur village border. According to BGB officials, the BSF attempted to force the group—all of whom were identified as Bengali-speaking Indian nationals—across the international boundary. BGB personnel intercepted the individuals as they attempted to cross into Bangladesh, preventing the illegal entry.
