Banani police station has informed that a young man was arrested while roaming for the purpose of distributing posters and leaflets of the banned student organization Chhatra League. The arrested young man’s name is Md. Ashiq Tapedar (24).

According to the police, these posters and leaflets mention the homecoming day of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina who was deposed in the mass coup.

Ashiq Tapedar was arrested from Dhaka-Mymensingh Road area of ​​Banani at around 4:30 am on Saturday. Media and Public Relations Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) informed this information in a press release.
