7 more children died with measles and measles symptoms

Three children died of measles and four children died of measles symptoms in the country in the previous 24 hours till 8 am on Friday. A total of 42 children have died of measles since March 15. And 198 children died with symptoms of measles.

This information has been informed in the updated report of the Department of Health today. During this period, 172 children were infected with measles. And 860 children were admitted to the hospital with symptoms.

The Health Department says that six children have died in the last 24 hours due to measles and measles symptoms in Dhaka Division. Another child died in Sylhet division with symptoms of measles.

According to the Department of Health, measles symptoms are seen in 1,215 children across the country in 24 hours. Among them, 860 children were admitted to the hospital. Among them 363 children are from Dhaka division. Apart from this, 799 children who were admitted with measles symptoms were discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. Among them are 373 children of Dhaka division.

According to the report of the Department of Health, a total of 29,549 children have been diagnosed with measles since March 15. Among them, 19 thousand 705 children were admitted to the hospital. 4 thousand 231 of them were diagnosed with measles. And the number of patients discharged from the hospital is 16 thousand 527.
