Popular American rapper Megan Thee Stallion and basketball star Klay Thompson have ended their high-profile romantic relationship, with Megan confirming the split and hinting at infidelity and a breach of trust. The Grammy-winning artist announced the separation through her representatives, citing a fundamental breakdown of core values in the relationship.

In a statement provided to TMZ by her representative, Megan Thee Stallion said, “I have decided to end my relationship with Klay. For me, there is no compromise on trust, honesty, and respect in a relationship. When these values are compromised, there is no way forward together.” She emphasized her new focus on “mental peace and clarity.”

The rapper’s statement also contained pointed remarks suggesting betrayal. She wrote, “Cheating! You brought me in front of your whole family and made a drama of a household… and now your feet are trembling?” She further expressed frustration over Thompson’s alleged behavior, stating, “During the basketball season, I tolerated your terrible ‘mood swings’ and bad behavior and stood by you. And now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’? I need a long break now. Goodbye everyone.”

The couple was first seen publicly on the red carpet at Megan’s ‘Pit & Thomas Foundation Gala’ in New York City, where Megan had reportedly praised Thompson.
