Photographers Apologize to Salman Khan Following Incident
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan publicly confronted a group of Mumbai paparazzi for what he deemed an invasion of privacy at a hospital, only to reconcile with them a day later after they offered an apology. The dramatic shift unfolded within 24 hours, moving from a heated social media rebuke to a lighthearted public reconciliation at a film event.
The incident began on Tuesday evening when Khan visited a Mumbai hospital to see a close acquaintance. As he exited, photographers reportedly barraged him with questions about his upcoming film, “Matrubhoomi,” and shouted his name, prompting a furious reaction from the actor who expressed severe irritation at the breach of privacy in a sensitive environment.

Khan subsequently took to Instagram, posting a series of messages to convey his displeasure. In one post, he wrote, “If they want to cash in on my pain or sadness… then keep quiet. Don’t celebrate. By shouting ‘Bhai, Bhai, Bhai,’ you are ruining ‘Matrubhoomi’! Is the film more important, or life?” In another, he issued a warning: “I can smash a hundred cameras like this. Try doing this to me again on Bhai’s day of sorrow… Just try once. When one of you is in the hospital, will I act like this?” He further added, in his characteristic “Bhaijaan” style, “I am sixty years old, but I haven’t forgotten how to fight – remember that. Will you put me in jail? Ha ha ha…”
However, by Wednesday night, the atmosphere had dramatically changed. Khan attended a celebration for the successful Marathi film “Raja Shivaji,” in which he made a cameo appearance. As his car pulled up to the venue, the assembled paparazzi collectively called out, “Sorry for yesterday, Bhai,” with some adding, “Love you, Bhai.”

Responding to their conciliatory tone, Khan remarked, “This place is okay,” implicitly contrasting the public event with the private hospital setting. The reconciliation continued with a playful moment where Khan, alongside “Raja Shivaji” lead actor and director Riteish Deshmukh, humorously urged the paparazzi to “Say sorry louder.” Deshmukh was seen laughing at Khan’s interaction.
