Actress Kiara Advani has reportedly voiced concerns over certain intimate scenes in the upcoming Kannada superstar Yash-starrer ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups,’ requesting filmmakers to reduce their intensity or shorten them after finding them uncomfortable in the final edit.

According to reports in Indian media, Advani recently expressed her unease after reviewing the final cut of the film. Telugu news portal Gulte reported that she had been assured during the filming of a romantic sequence with Yash that the scene would be kept within her comfort parameters.

However, upon seeing the completed version, Advani reportedly felt the depiction on screen was “quite uncomfortable.” She has since requested the producers to either trim the scene or tone down its intensity, aiming for a more “dignified” version for the final release.

This latest development comes as the film has already faced controversy, stemming from the teaser released on Yash’s birthday. The teaser depicted Yash in a gangster avatar named ‘Raya’ and included a bold sequence set inside a car near a cemetery.

The scene drew significant criticism on social media, with a segment of netizens deeming its presentation “overly aggressive” and unsuitable for the film’s intended mood. Kiara Advani’s reported demands now add further pressure on the highly anticipated project, following the unresolved online debate.
