“I used to shop with my mother on Boishakh”

Tasnia Farin is a popular Bangladeshi actress and model, who has won the hearts of audiences with her impeccable performances in television dramas, web series and movies. Her natural acting, sweet smile and confident presence have made her one of the favorite faces of the young generation.

This famous actress of the country said that when the first Boishakh came, she used to go to the fair with her mother and run a shop. The actress, who was celebrating the New Year celebrations, reminisced about her childhood and said, ‘I remember my childhood very much. At that time fairs were also held in the city. I used to go shopping with my mother. Sometimes I used to sell Muri-Batasa, sometimes pickles or pitha at the Boishakhi function of the school. 

He also said, ‘Ramana banyan tree is a walking path from our house. Dressed in new clothes, I would reach there holding the hands of the elders of the house. I used to listen to music with everyone.  

Times have changed. Tasnia Farin can’t join the crowd even if she wants to. He said, ‘Instead, I attend events organized where I live. But I bought a red border white saree. Mother made a variety of pithas.
