Dhallywood Superstar Shakib Khan Set to Conclude Filming for Action-Thriller Soldier in Bangkok
Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan’s highly anticipated action film, “Soldier,” is nearing the final stages of production as the crew prepares for a critical final filming schedule. Director Sakib Fahad and his team are set to travel to Bangkok, Thailand, later this month to complete the remaining portions of the movie.
Production of “Soldier” commenced in October of last year. While the film was originally slated for an earlier release, scheduling adjustments have shifted the timeline, with the production team now aiming to bring the project to theaters by 2026. According to the director, the team is evaluating potential release windows in either October or December, reflecting a strategic approach to timing the debut.

The film, produced by Sun Music and Motion Picture Ltd., centers on the struggle of an ordinary man fighting against systemic corruption and powerful criminal syndicates. Audiences were given a glimpse of the narrative through a motion poster released last year, which highlighted a distinct and rugged transformation for Shakib Khan. Joining the lead actor are Tanjeen Tisha and Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, alongside industry veterans Tariq Anam Khan and Tauquir Ahmed in supporting roles.
With post-production preparations now underway, the director emphasized that the primary focus remains on delivering a high-quality final product. Addressing the release strategy, Fahad noted that compelling cinema should be available to audiences year-round rather than being restricted to traditional holiday periods. By prioritizing the expectations of both cinema owners and the viewing public, the production team aims to solidify “Soldier” as a significant addition to the Bangladeshi action genre.
