Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman Addresses Annual Commanders Conferences of Military Police and Remount Veterinary and Farm Corps in Savar

The annual commanders’ conferences for the Corps of Military Police and the Remount, Veterinary and Farm (RV&F) Corps were held on Thursday at the Corps of Military Police Centre and School and the RV&F Depot in Savar. Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman presided over both events as the chief guest, according to an official statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Addressing the Corps of Military Police commanders, General Waker-Uz-Zaman highlighted the corps’ historic role in maintaining discipline and security within the military. He commended the members for their service and lauded their professional contributions on the international stage. During the session, the Army Chief discussed critical areas for growth, including technological modernization, research initiatives, and strategic long-term planning aimed at enhancing overall professional capabilities.
At the fourth annual commanders’ conference of the RV&F Corps, General Waker-Uz-Zaman underscored the unit’s significance in ensuring the nutritional standards and food security of the armed forces. He called for increased output from military farms and stressed the necessity of continued professional development and research. The Army Chief reviewed the future operational roadmaps for the corps and engaged with officers on strategies to improve logistical efficiency and technical infrastructure.
Senior military officers from the respective corps and other high-ranking personnel from the Bangladesh Army were in attendance at both proceedings.
