On the first day of Baisakh, a day-long event was held at Dhanmondi No. 27 with Mars procession

The Varshavaran Parshad will organize Mars procession tomorrow on Tuesday on the first day of Baisakh with the theme ‘Wake up the pedestrian, and he is unconscious in sleep’. This procession will be held on Dhanmondi road number 27 of the capital. Apart from this, there will be various cultural events including songs, recitations, dances, mime performances throughout the day.

According to the notification, the day-long event will begin at 9 am with children singing together on the occasion of Payala Baisakh. They will perform three songs, National Anthem, Dhandhanya Pushpa Bhara and Eso O Boishakh. Then at 9:30 in the morning, Mars procession will start from front of Meenabazar, Dhanmondi number 27. The procession will return to the venue after passing through Rapa Plaza, Road No. 27, Chayanot, Star Kebab. After that, the cultural program will start at Meenabazar square from 11 am. There will be bratchari and dhillin dance, mime act, solo recital, solo song performance.
After the lunch break from 1 pm to 2 pm, the day-long program will begin. According to the notification, this episode will have music performed by various organizations including the Udichi Central Parliament and various branch parliaments, Uton, Tapoban, Khelaghar. Apart from this, Bachi artistes of various organizations including Muktdhara Sansturcharcha Kendra, Udichi, Srot, Katha Aurti Chakra will perform crowd recitals.
Maqbool Ahmed, Sukumar Biswas, Narayan Chandra Sheel, Piyush Barua, Monira Ronak Bubli, Akhi Halder, Shaon Roy, Arunima Ahmed Prothma, Shilpi Saha will be performing solo music.
Belayet Hossain, Layla Afroz, Naila Tarannum Kakli, Md. will take the stage with a solo recital. Masud Uz Zaman, Shikha Sengupta, Aniket Rajesh, Shahdat Hossain Nipu, Iqbal Khorshed, Alak Basu, Shahida Falguni, Mostafizur Rahman Mamun, Mehdi Hasan etc. Apart from this, Taxila Vidyalaya will perform bratchari dance, and Rangan Ahmed will perform mime. The whole program will end with the performance of Baulgan by Sardar Hirak Raja and his companions.
