Model in the face of indecent offers asking for financial help

Indian model Akanksha Chowdhury has revealed her bitter experience in the world of entertainment. Recently, at the moment of her departure from the reality show ‘Lock Up: Sach Ya Saja’, she was in the face of an indecent proposal from an influential person in the world of beauty pageants, she alleged.

Elaborating the details of the incident, Akanksha said that she needed 1 to 2 lakh rupees for clothing and training to participate in the beauty pageant. But not having that ability and the family not being able to pay, he turned to an influential person known in the industry. Desire to study engineering thought he would pay that money in exchange for work. But the man called him to his house and made an indecent proposal to help him.

Highlighting that experience, Akanksha said, I wanted to join a beauty pageant. 1 to 2 lakh rupees were needed for various expenses including clothing, training. We couldn’t afford that. Parents also could not pay. Then I contacted an influential person. I don’t want to say his name because he is a big name. I knew him for many years. Used to be a judge in various beauty pageants. Heard, he has given financial help to many contestants. So I also asked him for help for two months. I said, I will pay back the money after working. I studied engineering, can speak well, so could work in his company. He immediately agreed and called me home.

Narrating the unpleasant situation he faced after reaching home, he said that he was harassed as soon as he reached there. According to him, I have been to that house before. Went there on various occasions with trainers. But that day when I arrived he hugged me. Not only hugged, touched in an indecent manner. I remove him. After that he sat down and said, ‘It’s good to see you after a year. Now you are grown up. When you arrived a year ago, your thinking was very old-fashioned. If you had stayed with me then, you would have had the chance to act. Now no one is working. I will give you money, but in return you have to have sex with me.’ 

He had planned everything. Said to have sex with him five-six times in a month.

In such a situation, desire reacts immediately and informs the person that he would never have come there if he had known such intentions in advance. In response, the man once again called his thinking “old fashioned” and claimed that working in this industry had to be accepted.
