By dawn on Monday, her condition prompted a transfer to the Munshiganj General Hospital. Dr. Arifuzzaman, the superintendent of the hospital, reported that in addition to her allergy concerns, Dipu Moni is also managing complications related to kidney health. After receiving initial treatment at the facility, doctors recommended she be moved to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for more specialized care.

Upon arrival at the Dhaka facility, medical staff determined that formal admission was not required. Following a series of examinations and medical stabilization, she was discharged and escorted back to the Munshiganj District Jail by 1:00 p.m. Monday.

Jail Superintendent Muhammad Enayet Ullah confirmed the logistics of the transfer and noted that her condition improved following the medical intervention. Dipu Moni remains in custody facing multiple legal cases, having been detained in the aftermath of the student-led uprising that ended the Awami League’s tenure on August 5, 2024.
