Three killed in Sirajganj road accident as bus strikes autorickshaw

Three people were killed in a collision between a passenger bus and a motorized auto-rickshaw on the Sirajganj-Natore highway in Ullapara, Sirajganj, on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. near the RAB-12 headquarters in the CRBC area. According to witnesses and local authorities, the auto-rickshaw was traveling toward the Hatikumrul roundabout when it was struck head-on by a high-speed Ekata Paribahan bus heading from Dhaka to Natore.
The impact left the auto-rickshaw severely mangled. Two of the passengers died at the scene, while a third victim succumbed to their injuries while being transported to a hospital. The driver of the auto-rickshaw was also among those injured in the crash.
Ismail Hossain, officer-in-charge of the Hatikumrul Highway Police Station, confirmed the fatalities and stated that the bodies have been recovered and transported to the police station. Authorities have yet to confirm the identities of the deceased, all of whom are male, as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the collision continue.
