Headmistress dies after falling from rickshaw during attempted bag snatching near National Parliament building

A 55-year-old headmistress died on Saturday morning after falling from a rickshaw during an attempted robbery in front of the South Plaza of the National Parliament House in Dhaka.
The victim, identified as Ronjina Parveen, was traveling to a hospital in Farmgate after arriving in the capital from Bogura. At approximately 6:30 a.m., assailants on a motorcycle approached the rickshaw and attempted to snatch her bag, causing her to fall onto the road and sustain critical injuries.
Parveen was rushed to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, where attending physicians declared her dead.
Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in the attack.
