**Record-Breaking Prices Emerge for 2026 World Cup Final Tickets on Resale Market**

Four tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final are reportedly being offered for sale on the official resale platform at an astounding price of approximately $2.3 million each, totaling over $9.2 million for the set. This astronomical figure, equivalent to roughly $2.3 million per ticket in Bangladeshi Taka, was detailed in a report by The Guardian.

The highly anticipated final is scheduled to take place on July 19 at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The premium seats in question are located in Block 124, Row 45, seats 33 through 36.

While FIFA aims to control original ticket prices, the organization acknowledges its limited ability to regulate the secondary market, such as its official resale or exchange marketplace. However, FIFA stands to benefit significantly from these inflated prices, collecting a 15% service fee from both the buyer and the seller on each transaction.

The astronomical resale prices foreshadow a broader trend of significantly higher ticket costs for the upcoming tournament. Reports indicate that ticket prices for the 2026 World Cup could be at least four times higher than those for the 2022 edition. Even the lowest-priced tickets for the final are starting at an estimated $10,923, which converts to approximately $1.3 million in Bangladeshi Taka.
