Younger brother killed, elder brother arrested due to family dispute in Comilla

It has been alleged that younger brother was stabbed to death by elder brother due to family feud in Comilla Sadar South. This murder happened in Goalgaon village of the upazila on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased Md. Faisal (24) is a resident of Goalgaon village in East Jorkanan Union. He was a carpenter by profession. The accused elder brother Morshed (40) was arrested by the police in this incident.

According to local and police sources, Faisal had an argument with his elder brother Morshed due to a family dispute. At one point, Morshed hit Faisal’s chest with a sharp knife. He was seriously injured. Local people rescued him and took him to Comilla Medical College Hospital. He died while undergoing treatment there. Immediately after the incident, the police launched an operation. Later, Morshed was arrested from Suagazi Bazar area of Sadar Dakshin.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Comilla Sadar South Model Police Station Mohammad Rakibul Islam said that the case process is underway in the police station. The body has been sent to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
