Two killed, one injured in Natore motorcycle-truck collision

Two teenagers were killed and a third person was injured early Monday morning when a truck collided with their motorcycle on the Natore-Bogra highway in the Singra upazila of Natore.

The victims, identified as 18-year-old Jibon Ali from Sadhupara village and 18-year-old Md. Hira from Islabari village, were traveling together when the incident occurred at approximately 7:00 a.m. near the Bandar area. Local authorities reported that the motorcycle was struck by a truck loaded with mango crates that was heading toward Natore from Bogra.

Emergency responders from the Natore Fire Service arrived at the scene shortly after the collision. Abdur Rouf, a station officer with the fire service, confirmed that the two friends died instantly upon impact. The surviving passenger, who sustained severe injuries, was rescued by personnel and transported to the Natore Modern Sadar Hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Singra Police Station Officer-in-Charge Rafiqul Islam stated that police units secured the scene and took custody of the bodies. Law enforcement officials have initiated legal proceedings in connection with the crash, as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision continue.
