Twin sisters in Chandpur achieve GPA-5 in SSC examinations

Twin sisters Nahiyan Tasnim and Tasnuba Nur have both achieved a GPA-5 in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, marking a significant academic milestone for their family in Chandpur. Both students sat for the examinations under the science discipline from separate educational institutions.
Nahiyan Tasnim, who is older than her sister by a few minutes, secured her result while attending the English version of the science department at Chandpur Collectorate School and College. Her younger sister, Tasnuba Nur, achieved the same grade while studying in the science department at Chandpur Matripith Government Girls’ High School.
The sisters credited their success to a disciplined lifestyle and the unwavering support of their family. Nahiyan noted that they focused primarily on their studies, limiting time spent outside the home and dedicating their leisure time to reading and spending quality time with family members.
Tasnuba attributed much of their academic achievement to the strict environment maintained by their mother, Nigar Pinky. She noted that their mother prohibited the use of mobile phones and restricted access to electronic devices to ensure they remained focused on their education.
Looking toward the future, both sisters aspire to become engineers. They aim to study at prestigious engineering universities in the country to dedicate themselves to public service and national development.
Their father, Abul Barakat Lizon Patwari, a businessman, and their mother, Nigar Pinky, a homemaker, expressed great joy at the accomplishment. Abul Barakat highlighted the dedicated efforts of the teachers and the tireless support provided by their mother, who managed the challenges of coordinating their education across two different schools. He remarked that the effort invested in their schooling has been validated by their daughters’ outstanding performance.
