The head was recovered after the dismembered body in Mugaday

The police recovered the severed head of a man wrapped in polythene from Mugdar Maniknagar area of ​​the capital on Sunday around 2.30 am. Earlier, seven parts of a headless dismembered body were recovered from Manda in the same area. The police believe that the recovered head is part of that body.

Deputy Inspector (SI) of Mugda police station. Abu Raihan said today on Monday, a head wrapped in black polythene was recovered from the lane between house number 77/A and house number 77 on the paved road of Maniknagar at around 2.30 pm yesterday.

According to the Surathal report of the police, the half-molten head inside the black polythene contained insects. Deep cuts were seen on the left side and right side of the front of the head. Although there was black hair in the back, the front part of the face was not in a condition to be understood.

After the legal process, the head was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue this morning for autopsy.

Earlier yesterday afternoon, police recovered seven half-decomposed bodies wrapped in polythene from a basement in front of Shahnaz Villa on Manda Abdul Gani Road in Mughdar. The head of the body was not found. The local people informed the police after smelling the stench. Later the police recovered the body parts.

Police said, the identity of the deceased is yet to be known. It is believed that after killing him, the miscreants dismembered his body and left it in different places.
