State Minister Amit gave good news for women students

Minister of State for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Anindya Islam Amit has commented that there will be no more discrimination in the society if we work for the backward people from every part of the society.

State Minister of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry Anindya Islam Amit said that after forming the BNP government in 1991, Khaleda Zia introduced the free education system for girls. Arranged stipend. Girls are established in the society through this educational system. Through this, the girls of the country have progressed, the rate of female education has increased. In the future, the current government is going to introduce a free education system for girls up to graduation.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the financial assistance program of Jessore Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium on Saturday (April 11) evening. 

With the help of the American aid organization ECO, 55 meritorious students were given checks totaling Tk 766,000. 15,000 for medical students, 12,000 for engineering and nursing and 10,000 for public and polytechnic students. 

Appreciating the activities of ECO, the State Minister said that ECO has been working with the backward groups of the society for a long time. They are doing various social work including health care for the poor, various trainings aimed at creating employment, education scholarships for poor talents and distribution of food. Already their activities are being appreciated in the country. 

In his welcome speech, ECO project officer Abdul Quader said that the organization is working to make the poor people who are backward in the society aware and socio-economically prosperous with the funding of ECO. Besides, the Eco Training Center in Jessore is working to establish and create jobs for the poor people of the society.
