This is wasting the working hours of the day. On top of that, the price increased by 19 taka per liter. Earlier, I was struggling to run the family, now I am completely disoriented.

More than two hundred sales representatives of various drug and product manufacturing companies in Bara Upazila are disoriented due to such problems. They have to travel to work in various areas of Pabna and Sirajganj districts on a motorcycle every day. It takes two to three liters of petrol per day.

Sales representatives said that now you have to stand in line for a long time to get oil at the pump. In this three-four hours are being lost from the daily working hours. As a result, it is becoming difficult to complete the work in all areas on time.

But the salary is relatively low. On top of that, life will become more difficult now that the price of oil has gone up. Apart from this, our income has further decreased due to the loss of three-four hours at the petrol pump for oil. So we demand from the administration to provide oil from the pump on a priority basis.

Bara Bazar spoke to a sales representative of one of the country’s leading household and plastic products manufacturers. He said that the loss of working hours due to the oil crisis and the sudden increase in prices in the meantime have created an additional crisis in their lives. As a result, the whole situation has now become a ‘wound on the back’ for them.
