Reshuffle of 23 officers including one additional IGP

A total of 23 officers, including one Additional Inspector General of Police (Additional IGP) rank officer, have been reshuffled. These include 7 DIGs, 2 Additional DIGs and 13 Superintendent of Police (SP) rank officers.

Today, on Wednesday, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued three separate notifications to amend the order.

According to the notification, Police Telecom DIG (Supernumerary Additional IGP). Rezaul Karim has been posted as Additional IGP of Naval Police.

DIG Khondkar Nazmul Hasan of Tangail PTC Commandant (DIG), Tangail PTC Commandant (DIG) Mohammad Ashfakul Alam DIG of Police Directorate, Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Majid Ali has been transferred as DIG of CID, DIG of Highway Police Mohammad Abdul Mabud as Commissioner of Rangpur Metropolitan Police, DIG of Police Department Mohammad Abdullahil Baki as DIG of Highway Police, DIG of Police Department Kazi Zia Uddin as DIG of Police Staff College and DIG Abu Raihan Muhammad Saleh, who was ordered to transfer to Police Academy Sarda, has been transferred as DIG of Police Department.

Additional DIG Special Branch of Police Faisal Mahmood has been attached to Central Police Hospital and AFM Anjuman Kalam has been attached to DIG office, Sylhet range.

Out of 13 officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police, 4 have been transferred to Sylhet Metropolitan Police. They are Superintendent of Police of Highway Police Muhammad Rahmat Ullah, Superintendent of Police of Special Branch of Police MKH Jahangir Hossain, Superintendent of Police of PBI Md. Aktar Hussain and APBN Superintendent of Police Shahriar Al Mamun.

Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Eliza Sharmin of Police Academy Sardar has been transferred to APBN, Superintendent of Police of Rajshahi Range DIG Office Mohammad Shahjahan Miah has been transferred to SP of Special Branch of Police, AIG of Police Directorate Mahfuza Akhtar has been transferred to Superintendent of Police Telecom, Superintendent of Police of Police Directorate Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman Al Mamun has been transferred to PBI, Superintendent of Police of Police Telecom Mohammad Morshed Alam has been transferred to Rangpur Metropolitan Police. Superintendent of Police of Kishoreganj SM Farhad Hossain was Superintendent of Police of PBI, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Mohammad Mizanur Rahman was Superintendent of Police of Kishoreganj, Superintendent of Police of Rangpur Md. Marufat Hussain has been made Superintendent of Police of Tourist Police and Superintendent of Police of APBN Mohammad Mozammel has been made Superintendent of Police of Rangpur.
