Regional stage competition at 15 places in Dhaka and Narayanganj: Know when and where

‘Talent’ is no longer the monopoly of the city. Marks Allrounder—One of the largest platforms in the country connects hidden talents across the country to a unique network. The spontaneous participation of the audience and contestants in every audition of the competition proves that the future champions are emerging from every nook and cranny of rural Bengal. This triumphant message of talent beyond borders is a new Bangladesh, where all-rounders are being developed from the very roots.

Regional competitions have already been held in different parts of the country, from which many new faces and new stories have emerged. The competition will be held in three stages – Regional, Divisional and National.

Next Friday and Saturday (May 8 and 9) the Dhaka regional competition of Marks All-rounder will be held. The competition will start at 8 am at each of the following venues.

Venue: Zarina Sikdar Girls High School & College, Tali Office Road, Rayerbazar, Dhaka.

Areas where students will participate: Part of Dhaka’s Dhanmondi police station (Dhanmondi, Jigatla, Rayerbazar, Sherebangla Road) and all schools and colleges in Hazaribag police station.

Venue: Ghiyasuddin Islamic Model College, Hirajhil, Siddhirganj, Narayanganj.

Areas where students will participate: All schools and colleges in Siddhirganj, Bandar and Sonargaon police stations of Narayanganj.

Venue: Abujar Giffari College, Malibagh, Dhaka.

Areas where students will participate: All schools and colleges of Ramna, Hatirjheel and Tejgaon (Mogbazar) Police Stations of Dhaka.

Venue: Kalshi Islamia High School, Pallavi, Mirpur, Dhaka.

Areas where students will participate: Part of Mirpur police station in Dhaka (Mirpur-11, Mirpur-12, Purbi, Palashnagar, Baunia, Rupnagar and Mirpur DOHS) and all schools and colleges in Pallabi police station.

Venue: Kamarpara School and College, Kamarpara, Turag, Dhaka.

Areas where students will participate: Part of Uttara Paschim police station of Dhaka (Uttara Sector-9, 10, 11, 12 and Kamarpara) and all schools and colleges of Turag police station.

Venue: Rajdhani High School, Sherbangla Nagar, Dhaka.

Areas where students will participate: All schools and colleges in Tejgaon, Tejgaon Industrial and Sherbangla Nagar (Manipuripara) police stations of Dhaka.

Gradually the regional level competition of Marks All-rounder in other regions of Dhaka will be completed.

Play to Class IV—Junior School (singing, dancing, acting, drawing, reciting, storytelling); Grades V to VIII—Middle School (Singing, Dance, Acting, Painting, Recitation, Lecture Attendance) and Grades Ninth to XII—High School and College (Singing, Dance, Acting, Painting, Recitation, Lecture Attendance.)

Already Dhaka (Mohammedpur, Adabar, Sabuj Bagh, Mugda, part of Mirpur Model Police Station, Darussalam, part of Uttara Purva Police Station, Demra, Rupganj, Newmarket, Lalbagh, Bhatara, Kafrul, Cantonment, Bhashantek, Wari, Sutrapur, part of Jatrabari Police Station and Mirpur-1); Gazipur (Konabari, Kashimpur, Gacha, Kaliakair and Gazipur Sadar Thanas, part of Gazipur Sadar, Mauna, Kapasia, Kaliganj, Sreepur, Joydevpur and Tongi East and West); Barisal, Jhalkathi, Pirojpur, Barguna, Patuakhali, Chittagong, Comilla, Brahmanbaria, Laxmipur, Chandpur, Jessore, Magura, Noakhali, Feni, Sylhet, Natore, Pabna, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Sunamganj, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Shariatpur, Rajbari, Sirajganj, Rangpur, The competition has been completed in different districts of the country including Kurigram, Khulna, Bagerhat, Rajshahi, Thakurgaon, Tangail, Lalmonirhat, Satkhira, Chapainawabganj, Jamalpur, Sherpur, Kushtia, Meherpur, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Mymensingh, Jhenaidah, Chuadanga, Nilphamari, Panchagarh.

The regional phase will be held in a total of 100 places in the country. Students of all schools-colleges (play group to class 12th) and equivalent educational institutions of Bangladesh can participate in this competition.

Each of the top three all-rounders from the three groups in the Marks All-rounder will get a scholarship of Tk 15 lakh. And the winners of various stages will get a total of more than 1 crore rupees in gifts and scholarships.

In the grand finale, the first runner-up and second runner-up of the three groups will each receive a scholarship of Rs 5 lakh and Rs 3 lakh respectively. The top 3 in each of the six subjects of the three groups out of a total of 54 top performers will each receive gold, silver and bronze medals respectively. At the national level, the educational institutions of the champions of the three groups will get one computer each.
