Prothom Alo and Shikho to Host Nationwide Reception for 2026 GPA-5 Achievers Across 64 Districts

Prothom Alo, in partnership with the digital education platform Shikho, is organizing the “Shikho-Prothom Alo GPA-5 Achievers Reception 2026” to honor students who achieved top grades in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations. Operating under the theme “Dream Big, Build Your Life,” the nationwide initiative aims to celebrate academic excellence across all 64 districts of Bangladesh.
To facilitate the event, all 64 district venues will be designated as Wi-Fi zones, allowing students free internet access. This infrastructure support will be provided by Amber IT Limited, primarily to enable students to participate in online quizzes conducted during the receptions.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding this collaboration was signed on Sunday afternoon at the Prothom Alo office in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka. The agreement was formalized by Mrinal Kanti Mondal, Deputy General Manager of Amber IT Limited, and Md. Ajwaz Khan, General Manager and Head of Marketing at Prothom Alo, representing their respective organizations.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Mohsin Alam, Assistant General Manager of Amber IT Limited, Hitler A. Halim, Head of Media and Communications at Amber IT Limited, and Al Mamun, Assistant Manager of the Event Department at Prothom Alo.
The nationwide reception program for the 2026 SSC and equivalent GPA-5 recipients is scheduled to commence shortly. Students who have achieved these results are eligible to register for the event and receive commemorative gifts.
