Prime Minister Tariq Rahman went to meet the family of the eight-year-old child who was brutally murdered in Pallabi of the capital. After the cabinet meeting on Thursday night, he went to meet the child’s family in Pallabi area of Dhaka.
This information was informed by the press wing of the Prime Minister.

The child, a class II student of a local school, was allegedly brutally murdered by a tenant of a neighboring flat last Tuesday.
According to the police, after leaving the house in the morning, the child was dragged to a nearby flat and killed. Later, the police recovered the dismembered body of the child from that flat.

Sohail Rana and his wife Swapna Akhtar, residents of that flat, have been arrested by the police in this incident. Along with these two, the father filed a case accusing another unknown person of raping and killing the child.
Sohail Rana admitted guilt in the incident and gave a statement in Dhaka court yesterday.
