One friend was killed, another injured when he fell off the motorcycle

A teenager lost control of his motorcycle in Konapara Bansherpool area of Demra, Dhaka, and one teenager was killed and another was injured. The accident took place at around 11:15 on Wednesday night. The family said they were friends.
The name of the deceased teenager is Nazmul Hossain (17). He died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital after being injured after falling from his motorcycle. His friend Eamon (18) suffered minor injuries.
The accident happened in front of the gate of Dhaka Paper Mill in Konapara Bansherpool area of Demra. Eyewitness pedestrian Shahin Mia told Prothom Alo today that the two of them lost control while driving the motorcycle and fell on the road. Nazmul was rescued and taken to Mughda General Hospital in critical condition. Later, when the condition worsened, he was taken to the emergency department of the Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) Hospital at around 1:15 a.m. for better treatment.
Inspector of police outpost of DMK. Farooq said that when he was brought to the emergency department at night, the doctor declared Nazmul dead. His body has been kept in the mortuary of DMK Hospital. The matter has been informed to the police of Demra police station. The body will be handed over to the family after legal proceedings.
Nazmul’s father’s name is Delwar Hossain. Father owns a masala powder factory. Nazmul used to help his father in that work.
