After the death of Jamil Ahmed Limon, a PhD student of Florida State University, his home village of Jamalpur, Madarganj started mourning. The relatives of this 27-year-old young man who took the dream of higher education abroad cannot accept such a fate.

The deceased Jamil Ahmed is the son of Jahurul Haque of Mahishbathan area of ​​Karichra union in Motherganj. Zahurul Haque used to live in Mauna area of ​​Gazipur for a long time. Jamil grew up and studied there. In the same area he established a permanent family with his wife Lutfon Necha. Although the family members used to come to the village house for buffaloes occasionally. On Saturday afternoon, going to Mahishbathan area of ​​the upazila, it was seen that the whole house was crowded with grieving relatives and neighbors.

Zahurul Haque used to work in a private company. Jamil was the elder of the two sons. Younger son Zobair Hossain. As the eldest child of the family, everyone had many dreams and expectations around Jamil. That dream has turned into grief today. Jamil was pursuing a PhD in Geography, Environmental Science and Policy at the University of South Florida.

Jamil’s father’s friend Jasim Uddin said that Jamil was very talented, calm and polite since childhood. He had a keen interest in studies. He got along easily with everyone and was a symbol of dependability to his friends. He had big dreams for the future. They cannot accept the premature end of such a potential life.
