The situation took a brief turn on Wednesday morning when one of the girls contacted her father via mobile phone. According to family members, the girl stated that the group was safe before abruptly ending the call without disclosing their location. The phone number has since been deactivated, leaving families in a state of profound distress as they struggle to understand the circumstances behind the disappearance or whether the girls are being coerced.

Baliadangi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Bulbul Islam confirmed that an investigation is currently underway. He stated that police are pursuing all available leads and exploring every possible angle to locate the students and return them to their families as quickly as possible.
