The arrest drew widespread public scrutiny after footage of the incident circulated on social media, prompting an immediate disciplinary response from party leadership. According to Syed Ahmad, president of the Cox’s Bazar district Juba Dal, the decision to remove Humaini was made due to his involvement in the illicit activity, resulting in the permanent revocation of his party membership and all associated responsibilities.

Additional Superintendent of Police for the Satkania Circle, Md. Ariful Islam Siddiqui, confirmed that the three suspects have been formally charged under the Arms Act and subsequently remanded to jail custody by the court.
