Celebration of ‘International Nurses Week’ at Azgar Ali Hospital

Azgar Ali Hospital of the capital celebrated the ‘International Nurses Week’ with the theme ‘Empowered Nurses Save Lives’. To celebrate the week, team-nursing conducted various activities from Sunday to Tuesday (May 10 to 12). Among which debate competition, room of horror, rally, special program on empowerment of nurses in health care, discussion and cultural evening are among them.
In the opening ceremony, the CEO and Director (Medical Services) Professor Dr. Jabrul SM Haque, Head of Operations Morshed Ahmed Chowdhury, Fazlur Rahman Nursing and Midwifery Institute Principal Jannatul Ferdous and General Manager (Nursing) Selina Akhter congratulated the nursing team for their contribution and discussed their empowerment in saving lives.
Consultants, management and nurses as well as other officials of the hospital were present on the occasion.
