A new committee of Bangla Press Club Michigan, an organization of Bengali media workers living in the US state of Michigan, has been formed. NTV’s Michigan Representative Salim Ahmed was elected as President and Banglavision’s Michigan Representative Sahel Ahmed as General Secretary.
This executive committee of 13 members was formed through a voice vote at 12 miles of Warren City, Michigan, United States, on Sunday afternoon local time.

The council meeting was presided over by outgoing president Shahedul Haque and moderated by outgoing general secretary Tofail Reza (Suhel). Mostafa Kamal and RTV’s Kamruzzaman Helal have been appointed vice presidents of the new committee.
Apart from this, Kawsar Dewan became the joint general secretary, Mridul Kanti Sarkar the organizing secretary, Solaiman Al Mahmud the treasurer and Mahfuzur Rahman Shaheen the publicity secretary.

The members of the executive committee are Ashikur Rahman of DBC Television, Asaduzzaman Suhan of Global Television, Shamim Ahsan, Editor of Dainik Khowai, Chinmoy Acharya, Editor of Suprabhat Michigan and Tofail Reza Suhail of TBN Television.
