Yesterday, Sunday (April 10) on the night of World Mother’s Day, the doctor took a kidney from Nachima’s body and transplanted it to her son Nachim Jahan (28). He is the head teacher of Khalifakandi Government Primary School of Upazila.

According to the sources of the family and several local residents, Nachima Sultana started her career as an assistant teacher in the local primary school in 1996. Her husband Shahjahan worked in a private company. The couple has a son and a daughter. After marrying off their daughter, their family was running with their son Nashim. Shah Jahan died of cancer in 2019.

Later, Nashim decided to go to Kuwait in 2025 to take control of the world. But seven days before leaving there, Akash suddenly fell ill. After that, Nachima ran to the doctor with her son. Examination shows that the boy is suffering from kidney complications. Both his kidneys have become 100% useless. He was undergoing regular dialysis to keep him healthy. He had to undergo kidney dialysis 2-3 times a week. Nachima decided to donate a kidney to her son.

After all the tests, the surgery of mother and son was completed under the supervision of doctor Kamrul Islam of CKD and Urology Hospital in Shyamoli area of ​​the capital on Sunday. Quoting the doctor, the relatives said that both of them are healthy for now.

Nachima’s daughter Sifat Jahan told Prothom Alo, “Mother loves our brother and sister very much.” He himself decided to donate one of his kidneys to his brother.
