93 arrested in special operation of DMP in Tejgaon and Hazaribagh

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested a total of 93 people for their involvement in various crimes in special raids in Tejgaon and Hazaribagh areas of the capital.
According to a press release of DMP, 26 people were arrested from Hazaribagh police station area on Friday. At this time, some yaba pills and ganja were recovered from them.
The circular also said that in the last 24 hours, 67 more people were arrested in the Tejgaon division of the police. Among them, 7 people were arrested in regular cases, 10 people were arrested in old cases and 46 people were arrested under DMP Ordinance. The remaining 4 accused are under arrest warrant. Legal action has already been taken against the arrested persons.
According to DMP, such operation of the police will continue to suppress crime and maintain law and order situation in the area.
