4 more children died with measles symptoms in 24 hours

4 more children have died in the country in the last 24 hours till eight o’clock this Saturday morning due to symptoms of measles. However, no measles deaths were reported at this time.
According to the information given in the report of the Department of Health, a total of 35 children have died of measles from last March 15 to eight o’clock this morning; And 178 children died with measles symptoms.

Of the four children who died with measles symptoms in the last 24 hours, two deaths occurred in Dhaka and two in Barisal division. At this time, a maximum of 81 people were diagnosed with measles in Dhaka division.
According to the information of the Department of Health, 624 children have been admitted to different hospitals in the country with symptoms of measles.
The Department of Health says that 86 people have been diagnosed with measles across the country from 8 am on April 17 to 8 am today. Measles symptoms were seen in 942 people. Among them, 580 are from Dhaka Division, 208 from Rajshahi Division. At the same time, 624 people were admitted to the hospital with symptoms of measles, of which 330 were from Dhaka Division. The least number of patients were admitted in Mymensingh, five and three in Rangpur division.
Apart from this, 508 people admitted with measles symptoms have been discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. Out of this maximum 252 people left the hospital in Dhaka division, 64 in Chittagong division and 51 in Rajshahi division.
Out of 22 thousand 409 people who had symptoms of measles in the last 35 days, 14 thousand 522 were admitted to hospital. During this period, 3 thousand 278 people were diagnosed with measles. And 11 thousand 751 people returned home from the hospital after recovery.
