According to witnesses and local police, the victim, identified as Mohammad Joynal, was apprehended by school security guards Azad and Samir Das. Joynal’s family has leveled grave allegations against those responsible for the assault. His mother, Chenowara Begum, claimed that beyond the physical beating, her son was subjected to electric shocks before he succumbed to his injuries. Distraught family members initially blocked police from transporting the body, leading to a tense standoff that lasted approximately 30 minutes before authorities were able to move the remains to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abu Zayed Mohammad Nazmun Nur confirmed the arrests of guards Azad and Samir Das, who remain in custody for questioning. While police acknowledged the allegations regarding the use of electric shocks, the official stated that the exact cause of death and the verification of those claims will rely on the forensic findings from the autopsy.
