Popular film and television actress Rina Rahman has died at the age of 73. She passed away on Monday evening around 9:00 p.m., leaving a profound sense of loss throughout the nation’s cultural and entertainment sectors.
The news was confirmed by actor and director Anubhav Mahbub, who shared a tribute to the late actress on his social media platform late Monday night.
Rahman had been battling various health complications for an extended period. Despite her declining health, she remained dedicated to her craft for as long as possible, though the severity of her condition had forced her to step away from the industry in recent times. Before her health prevented her from continuing, she was actively working on the popular serial drama “Porompora,” though she had struggled to maintain a consistent presence on set due to her illness.
