US Rapper Keon Hart Faces Rape Charges Filed by Radio Host Dominick Hayes
Emerging United States rapper Keon Hart, a native of New Jersey, is facing severe allegations of sexual assault after a female radio host formally filed a legal case against him in the United States. The accusations have sparked widespread discussion across the American entertainment circuit, centering on allegations of abuse of trust, coercion, and intimidation.
According to court documents, the complainant, radio host Dominick Hayes, first crossed paths with Hart in 2016 when she interviewed him for an online radio program based in Florida. Their professional acquaintance matured into a friendship after Hayes relocated to New York in 2019. Court filings detail that Hart had previously promised to assist Hayes in securing music production opportunities, though those prospects never materialized. Furthermore, the lawsuit asserts that despite Hayes modeling for Hart's clothing brand, she was never compensated for her work.
The legal complaint outlines that the alleged assault transpired on July 4, 2025, a date coinciding with United States Independence Day and Hart's birthday. The pair had attended a celebration together, culminating in a visit to a nearby hotel room near the Coney Island boardwalk at approximately 1:00 AM. Hayes noted that she harbored implicit trust in the rapper, partly because Hart had previously stayed at her residence as a guest.
Investigators were told that inside the hotel room, the two consumed additional alcoholic beverages while observing fireworks outside. As intoxication took hold, Hayes reportedly grew nearly unconscious with her vision blurring, a vulnerable state that Hart allegedly exploited to perpetrate the sexual assault despite her repeated pleas for him to halt.
Following the incident, Hart allegedly attempted to intimidate the victim by boasting about possessing a firearm and portraying himself as affiliated with criminal underworld figures. When Hayes later confronted him regarding the assault, Hart initially offered an apology before reversing his stance to claim that the encounter was consensual and that Hayes was merely experiencing post-incident remorse. Although certain deleted Instagram messages captured Hart expressing regret and attributing the altercation to excessive alcohol consumption, he has otherwise rejected the accusations and labeled the complainant as dishonest. Hart maintains a substantial social media following on Instagram, where he frequently promotes his purported associations with popular 1990s hip-hop groups.
