Dog in the mouth of the crocodile in Bagerhat, the anger of the stars

A video of a dog falling in front of a crocodile in a pond near the shrine of Hazrat Khanjahan (RA) in Bagerhat has recently gone viral on social media. Netizens were seen expressing their anger over such a tragic death of a dog.  

In the viral video, the crocodile-faced dog lay helpless on the pier surrounded by onlookers. But no one came forward to save the dog. Rather, many of the visitors were busy taking videos there. 

Mentioning this incident as an example of inhumanity, people from various walks of life have expressed their anger on social media. Along with the common people, the country’s showbiz stars also expressed intense anger and frustration. 

Actress Jaya Ahsan, who has always been vocal about animal rights, was shocked to see the video of this incident spread on social media. On Facebook, he wrote, ‘He doesn’t understand that for making content and having fun, he has to die brutally – stupid dog!’

Singer Tanjeev Sarwar wrote in his Facebook status, ‘I was looking till death. Until the last moment, he thought that this faithful man would save him. But the crocodile is not to blame here; Because, when a crocodile is hungry, it eats as soon as it sees it. And here is the innocent dog, is this humanity?’

Actress Deepa Khandaker commented, ‘Terrible.’

Actor Irfan Sajjad wrote in his Facebook status, “There are more inhumans than people in this country. The country is not bad, the people are bad – that’s why the country does not progress. At the same time, he urged the government to change the mindset of the people. 

Actress Zakia Bari Mom wrote, ‘Shameless conscienceless cheater can be the only person in the animal kingdom! Dog’s trust and people have broken! But there is an opposite. Garbage is growing around for not respecting the right people. Learn to love human beings without misunderstanding, and hate animals.

A sick dog on the banks of the Dighi bit a few people, including a child. Enraged by this, some people chased the dog and it went towards the ghat. There, after scratching a security guard named Forkan of the shrine, the dog fell into the lake when he brushed his leg. Soon after this the crocodile of the lake slowly came and dragged the dog under the water in its jaws.
