Bomb Threat Targets Actress Trisha Krishnans Home

Police and bomb disposal units rushed to the Chennai residence of popular South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan on Monday after a series of emails threatened a powerful bomb had been planted, only to conclude hours later that the alarm was a hoax.
The Tamil Nadu Police control room began receiving multiple emails around 9:30 AM local time on April 13, claiming a potent explosive device was hidden at the actress’s home and could detonate at any moment. The threats quickly spread panic among Trisha’s fans and local residents.
Authorities responded swiftly, dispatching a special team from the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDDS) along with police personnel and sniffer dogs to the property. They conducted a meticulous search of the entire house and its surrounding areas for several hours.
Despite the extensive operation, no suspicious objects or explosives were discovered. Police ultimately confirmed the incident was a false alarm, or “hoax” call.
This is not the first such incident targeting the acclaimed actress. Police records indicate a similar bomb threat was made at Trisha’s home on the night of October 2, 2025, which also proved to be unfounded after a thorough search.
The repeated targeting of the same actress has raised concerns within the police administration. The cybercrime division has launched an investigation to identify the individuals responsible for sending these threatening emails.
Despite these unsettling threats, Trisha Krishnan is currently experiencing a career high. She is actively engaged in filming “Vishwambhara” alongside megastar Chiranjeevi, a big-budget fantasy thriller that has garnered significant anticipation among audiences.
