Actor Yash Warns Children Should Not Watch Upcoming Film Toxic Due to Mature Themes
Actor Yash has officially advised parents to keep children away from his highly anticipated film, “Toxic,” citing the intense action, violence, and mature themes depicted in the production. The actor emphasized that the movie was crafted specifically for an adult audience capable of discerning its complex narrative.
During an appearance on Rajat Sharma’s talk show “Aap Ki Adalat,” Yash clarified that the film is not suitable for minors, stating that children should remain at home. He argued that adult viewers possess the maturity to interpret the film’s gritty reality and decide for themselves what lessons to extract from the story.
The film’s trailer has already drawn scrutiny for its visceral content, prompting a polarized reaction from some viewers. However, Yash defended the creative choices, maintaining that the story is grounded in profound realism. He stressed that to effectively portray the depth of his character, the narrative required an honest and uncompromising approach, noting that the project’s tagline has always signaled its mature nature.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, “Toxic” features Yash in a dual role. The star-studded ensemble cast includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasant.
The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 26, 2026.
