Bollywood actor Aamir Khan began a new chapter in his personal life on July 5, marrying his long-time partner, Gauri Spratt, in an intimate ceremony held at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. The private affair was attended by close family members, their children, and a select circle of friends.

The couple embraced traditional aesthetics for the occasion, with Khan opting for an ivory dhoti-kurta accented by a brooch. Gauri complemented the look in a pastel-toned lehenga, accessorized with multi-layered necklaces and fresh flowers woven into her hair.

Created by the luxury jewelry house Queen, the ring features a rare, natural cabochon-cut ruby sourced from Madagascar. According to Amit Kumar, co-founder and CEO of the jewelry house, the rarity of the stone—which he described as a “one-in-a-million” find—required over three months of sourcing.

The production of the piece was a labor-intensive endeavor, involving 131 skilled artisans and over 256 hours of work. Designed to evoke a sense of royal heritage, the ruby is set within a crown-shaped gold frame rather than a standard setting. The cabochon cut, characterized by a smooth, domed surface, serves to amplify the stone’s deep color and natural luster.

The ring incorporates intricate millgrain detailing and diamond accents to frame the central gem. Designed as a future heirloom, the piece blends traditional artistry with rare materials, solidifying its status as a significant piece of bespoke jewelry.
