IPU Secretary General Anda Filip visits July Memorial Museum in Dhaka

A delegation from the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), led by Secretary General Martin Chungong, visited the July Memorial Museum in Dhaka on Monday to pay tribute to the memory of the July mass uprising.
The IPU representatives arrived at the museum, located in the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area, at approximately 3:00 p.m. and concluded their visit at 5:00 p.m. The delegation was accompanied by senior government officials and Mansura Akter, a member of parliament from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
The visit marked the first day of the Secretary General’s seven-day official trip to Bangladesh. Upon arriving in Dhaka earlier on Monday morning, the delegation held a formal meeting with the Speaker of the National Parliament, Major (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmad.
