Dhaka Metropolitan Police Detain 53 Individuals During Raids on Two Gulshan Spa Centers

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 53 individuals during raids on two spa centers in the capital’s Gulshan area on Wednesday night.
Niaz Mehedi, Additional Deputy Commissioner of the DMP’s Media and Public Relations Division, confirmed the details of the operation on Thursday. Authorities stated that the individuals were apprehended on allegations of involvement in illicit activities.
The raids were conducted between 8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Among those detained were 24 men and 29 women.
Police officials confirmed that legal proceedings are currently underway against the detainees. The DMP emphasized that such enforcement operations will continue as part of their ongoing efforts to maintain public order.
