Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt reunite in global action thriller Seven Dogs ahead of India release

The official Hindi-language trailer for the global action thriller “Seven Dogs” was released on Thursday, August 13. The film marks a significant cinematic reunion for Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, who appear together on screen for the first time in nearly two decades.

Salman Khan shared the international-caliber trailer via his official Instagram account, sparking anticipation among fans. Indications suggest that the roles played by Khan and Dutt are substantial rather than mere cameos, forming a core component of the film’s narrative.

The plot of “Seven Dogs” centers on an international criminal syndicate and the emergence of a dangerous new narcotic known as “Pink Lady.” While primarily filmed in Arabic and English, the production is slated for a wide, multi-language release. The film was conceived and co-written by Turki Al-Sheikh and is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the duo behind the “Bad Boys” franchise.

The project features a sprawling international ensemble cast. Beyond Khan and Dutt, the film stars Egyptian actors Ahmed Ezz and Karim Abdel Aziz, alongside Monica Bellucci, Giancarlo Esposito, Martin Lawrence, Tara Emad, Nasser Al-Qasabi, and Max Huang.

The film’s action sequences were designed by 87Eleven, the company renowned for its work on the “John Wick” franchise. Renowned stunt coordinator Stephen Dunlevy, whose previous credits include “Mad Max: Fury Road” and “John Wick,” oversaw the choreography.

Produced by Sela Studios in collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority and Riyadh Season, the movie held its official Middle East premiere on May 27. It is scheduled to arrive in Indian theaters on August 21.
