Alia Bhatt tops Bollywood brand valuation rankings, surpassing contemporaries and Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood star Alia Bhatt has solidified her position as India’s most valuable female celebrity, defying recent box office fluctuations to top the industry’s brand valuation rankings. According to the Kroll Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2025, Bhatt commands a brand value of approximately $93.9 million, equivalent to nearly 892 crore rupees, securing her the sixth spot overall among the country’s most influential public figures.
Bhatt’s financial standing has outpaced that of her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, who holds the tenth position on the list with a brand value of $80 million, or roughly 761 crore rupees. This shift underscores a broader trend where celebrity marketability is no longer tethered strictly to theatrical success, but is instead driven by global visibility, high-profile endorsements, and digital reach. With over 80 million followers on Instagram, Bhatt has leveraged her massive social media presence and strategic international partnerships to maintain her market lead.
The report highlights a competitive landscape among female stars, with Deepika Padukone securing second place among women and a high overall ranking with a brand value of $89.2 million. Rashmika Mandanna follows with a valuation of $75.2 million, a testament to her rising influence across both Southern Indian and Hindi film industries, coupled with an increasing portfolio of international brand collaborations.
The rankings also reflect the evolving nature of celebrity capital, as performers diversify their income streams through entrepreneurship and digital engagement. Other prominent figures listed include Kareena Kapoor Khan at 15th, followed by Kiara Advani at 17th, Kriti Sanon at 18th, Ananya Panday at 19th, and Janhvi Kapoor at 23rd. These figures illustrate a market where consistent visibility and multifaceted professional ventures are increasingly essential to sustaining top-tier celebrity status in India’s entertainment sector.
