Bangladesh Power Division Denounces Claims of Excessive Billing as Misinformation

According to the ministry, the Power Division and its associated distribution companies have already addressed the specific complaints previously lodged regarding electricity bills. Officials emphasized that there is no factual basis for the current reports of excessive charges and warned against the dissemination of misleading information intended to cause public confusion.
While dismissing the claims as propaganda, the ministry maintained its commitment to service quality. Customers who believe they have been incorrectly billed are encouraged to submit formal, evidence-based complaints to the appropriate authorities. The Power Division assured the public that all documented grievances will be thoroughly investigated and addressed through official administrative channels.
