BRAC EPL Investments Receives Global Award for Sustainable Fixed Income Initiative

BRAC EPL Investments Limited has been awarded the prestigious “Sustainable Investment Initiative of the Year—Fixed Income” by Environmental Finance, a global authority on sustainable finance and responsible investment. The accolade recognizes institutions that demonstrate exceptional innovation, leadership, and measurable impact in advancing responsible investment practices.

The firm earned this recognition for its role as the lead arranger in designing the first social bond framework in Bangladesh aligned with the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) principles. This initiative has been credited with aligning the domestic sustainable debt market with international standards, while simultaneously contributing to the advancement of eight United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
