State Minister Tukur ordered to punish the guilty by investigating the dog-crocodile incident

The tragic death of a dog in the mouth of a crocodile in a pond adjacent to the shrine of Hazrat Khan Jahan (RA) in Bagerhat has sparked strong reactions on social media. Many people present at the scene were busy recording video, but no one came forward to save the helpless animal, raising questions about humanity.
The matter has been noticed by the Minister of State for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salahuddin Tuku. He ordered a proper investigation into the incident and bring the culprits to justice.
The state minister said that the Bagerhat incident has deeply saddened him. Not only as the state minister of the concerned ministry, but also as a person, he is shocked. The Honorable Prime Minister Tariq Rahman of the Government of Bangladesh is determined to make this country a sanctuary for people and all living beings.
Directing the concerned administration, he said that through proper investigation of this inhuman incident, the guilty person should be brought under punishment and instructed to take all necessary measures so that such incidents do not repeat in the future.
Meanwhile, the Bagerhat district administration has taken swift action after the instructions of the state minister. Bagerhat Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Atiya Khatun has been formed as the head of the investigation committee. Other members of the committee are Assistant Commissioner (Lands) M. Sharif Khan, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Palash Kumar Das and Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Police Station Md. Mahmud-ul-Hasan.
